Abstract
The effect of the curvature of a pipe on the wave propagtion in a fluid therein is investigated. The eave equation is linear, friction effects are disregarded. The problem is solved by a perturbation ansatz in a dimesnionless curvature-parameter and with power series expansions. The curvature makes wave propagation dispersive.
