Abstract

The challenges multicultural teams are facing in the contemporary work environment are a result of their inherent diversity that manifests itself in different communication and working styles, different ways of problem solving and different preferences concerning conflict resolution. Both learning from experience and learning through reflection are conducive to better cooperation in multicultural teams. The chapter discusses the theoretical background and proposes some training activities to enhance the quality of team performance.
