Wiederverwendung und Weitergabe von Architekturwissen für Unternehmensanwendungen

Research output: ThesisMaster's / Diploma thesis

Abstract

Software Architecture Knowledge exists through architectural design and architectural design decisions. Usage of such knowledge by multiple architects in different projects is referred to as sharing and reuse. The architecture management tool Kosmos is already capable of supporting several software architecture knowledge management activities. Sharing and is not explicitly supported yet, however. The aim of this work was to devise and implement an extension of the tool in order to better support these two activities, based on the literature as well as production usage data. The concept includes assigning pieces of information to use cases within business domains to simplify finding relevant information on the one hand. On the other hand, these artefacts can be assigned an owner who can then choose their public visibility. This extension was then implemented into the system and demonstrated to current users. In summary, the interviewees considered the concept promising, however with a few possibilities for improvement in the next design science iteration.
