Research output: ThesisMaster's / Diploma thesis

Abstract

This thesis deals with the process characterization of a conventional single-screw and a co-rotating twin-screw extruder regarding the benefits for the mixing quality of additionally introduced elongational flows. The homogeneity of the mixture has a significant influence on the quality of the final product and therefore different polymer blends were produced and characterized in terms of the distribution of the disperse phase.
