Abstract
Interactive dashboards can provide a simplified view of data to help users make decisions. However, dashboards often fail to deliver the right information because they often display too much data or use the wrong visualization types for displaying the data. User experience (UX) is critical to improving application acceptance. Therefore, evaluating the UX of dashboards can help improve the quality of dashboards. The aim of this thesis was to investigate if Provectories, a visual provenance meta-analysis approach, can be used to analyze the UX of dashboards.
