Abstract
This dissertation submitted for a diploma contains on the one hand a theoretical view to the conditions for an energetically optimal building`s substance of a detached house, on the other hand an empirical examination about the obstacles for the building of a Low-energy-house.
In summary it may be said, that because of fear of too high costs it is desclaimed quite often to build a Low-energy-house, although the costs in reality are not much higher than for Energy-saving-houses with a parameter value of 65 kWh/m?a. Further it could be confirmed, that builders of Low-energy-houses show a higher environemental consciousness and that they take more often ecological insulation and building materials than builders of energy-saving-houses.
