Abstract
The forthcoming university education will to al large extent include interdisciplinarity as well as practical relevance. Important for the future development of uni- versity teaching - especially with respect to practical requirements - will be teachers with both scientific and teaching qualifications. They should have got communica- tive skills and the motivaton and readiness to teach these skills to students. In order to meet the needs of stu- dents, especially in relation to their future profession, curricula will have to be planned with most flexibility.
