Abstract

This paper reports about the role of hydraulics for modern argicultural machinery form a mechatronics viewpoint. In future, actuation must improve w.r.t. speed, efficiency, dynamic response. New concepts, e.g. hydraulic switching control are required in order to fulfil the performance and cost requirements
