Abstract

Applications based on Data Warehouses especially decision support systems such as Executie Information Systems (EIS) are rapidly becoming a key to gain competitive advantage for businesses. Data Warehouse allows businesses to get data from operational databases and turn that data into useful information on which users can carry out their analyses. In this paper we will discuss the importance of meta modeling for EIS and Data Warehouses as analytical base in EIS for decision support.
