Abstract
In recent years, significant progress has been made in the development of new technologies. Intelligent systems such as AI, big data, machine learning and data mining offer organisations considerable advantages in the foresight process. This also impacts its methods, as traditional methods are increasingly reaching their limits due to the growing volume of data, rising complexity, and the need for faster responses.
This thesis directly addresses these challenges. It examines the impact of new technologies such as AI, big data, machine learning and data mining on the foresight process. In order to evaluate both the opportunities and the challenges associated with these technologies and to derive practical recommendations for their integration into business processes a systematic literature review was conducted.
