Abstract
Tests and experiments are fundamental methods in psychology. They are compared with respect to their paradigmatic foundations, and are explained in their historical and methodological context. The psychological experiment represents the reduced scientific concept of the human world and dominates most of the research in this field. The psychological test, although emerging from scientific roots, is important in daily psychological practice and shows the breadth of everyday work
