Abstract

The development of complex systems requires a structured and systematic design process. It should enable good design results, effective workflows and information/data exchanges between the involved stakeholders and ensure short times to market. In this contribution, we introduce a capable analyzing method for design processes. With the help of such an analysis, recommendations for an improvement of the design process can be made. The practicability and usability of our procedure will be shown on the industrial example of the bid process for a sinter plant.
