Abstract

With the ending of the „eBusiness-Hype“, companies are more critical by the planning of investments in their eBusiness-Infrastructure. This is why the development of an eBusiness-Strategie, which contains the goals of these investments and the framework for the implementation, gets more and more important. In this dissertation an action model for the development of an eBusiness-Strategy has been developed and tested. The development of this action model has been divided in development-cycles, which took place either in the field or in the laboratory. Every development-cycles is documented in this dissertation. They contain, inter alia, the findings of the testing of the action model in four field studies and one laboratory study. With the aid of the developed action model for the development of an eBusiness-Strategy Consultants and managers can develop an eBusiness-Strategy for their enterprise in an very efficient way.
