Abstract
In this diploma thesis the data regarding chemical composition of normalising rolled steel plates and the corresponding parameters of the rolling process is analyses. Object of this thesis is to find a function for predicting the mechanical properties by using statistical methods. The predictions include data for the tensile strength and the yield strength.
