Abstract

Within this contribution a Faraday magnetometer as a means of analyzing magnetic microstructures non-destructively was investigated. Various ways of enhancing the magnetometer’s signal w.r.t. to its amplitude, spatial and amplitude resolution were presented. Their interdependence as well as their limitations were determined. Overall, this should serve as a guideline on the feasibility of a similar setup for a given set of parameters.
