Abstract
Abstract Undoped and Pb-doped Hg-1223 superconductors with high phase purity were prepared by the sealed quartz tube technique. Different post-treatment procedures were employed to reduce the porosity, to modify the microstructure and to improve the electrical properties. The Tc(0)-values for the post-treated samples ranged between 106 K and 130 K depending on the composition and the heat treatment.
