Abstract
At present there is a high interest on the subjects as knowledge society, public governance and e-Transformation. Also a lot of institutional reform for better governance is going on in Europe. This contribution will turn to public governance and also to the way it has widened the scope of the e-Government discussion. It is important that e-Government solutions are developed and improved with knowledge society and proficient governance in mind. Several transfer mechanisms can support this endeavour.
