Abstract
In this paper the authors present a methodology (including metrics) for evaluation of software offers. Applying the methodology supports the design of a user-centered evaluation process with intensive prototyping. The application of the methodology is depicted by case study conducted in a financial service sector company. Findings of accompanying scientific observation of the case study are reported. In summary, the findings confirm the assumption that a prototyping-based approach leads to more effectivity and efficiency of the evaluation process as well as the subsequent design and implementation process of software systems in industry.
