    Abstract

From the education policy perspective, photovoltaic solar power plants have become very popular in Austria recently. Due to its flat roof, the College for Software Engineering (HTL) located in Perg is in fact predestined for the installation of a potential photovoltaic system. The purpose of this diploma thesis is to present a general conception including expansion possibilities and the correct sizing for a possible installation of a photovoltaic system at HTL Perg. The work presented in this thesis comprises an economic analysis (LCC, LCOE, amortisation) as well as an ecological examination (EPBT, EROI) to identify the most eco-efficient option. For this reason, four offers have been objectified, compared and reviewed to finally achieve this goal, yet always considering the latest technical and legal fundamentals. The focus is on the economic validity and includes both, contracting and self-financing.
