Abstract
Based on the concept of a "grounded theory" (Glaser/Strauss/Corbin) the topic "partnership between man and woman" was developed as tension between ideal concepts about and practical experiences with partnership. Within the course project the participants interviewed people and experts and analysed media (f.e. partnership advertising). All material was assessed by procedures of "grounded" encoding and used as reference for a grounded theory of partnership.
