Abstract

We start with the definition of the concepts of fuzzy points based on indistiguishability relations, and of redundancy w.r.t. the Lukasiewicz t-norm. Then we provide a constructive method for modifying the fuzzy partition of Sugeno controller s.t. both the control surface remains invariant as well as the fuzzy sets become fuzzy points under certain conditions. Finmally, an example demonstrastes the usefulness if this method in order to increase the linguistic interpretability.
