    Abstract

Food Trade is a branch of economy, which needs a lot of energy. There will be an increas of demand for energy. The reason for this development is the growing demand for fresh convenience. There also will be longer business times in the stores. The consequence of a higher demand on energy are higher costs. One of the reasons for ecocides are fossile energy sources.. This paper asks for answers how to reduce the demand on energy. The aim of such activities are the reduction of costs and the reduction of ecocide. There is a Nah & Frisch food-store in Kirchberg-Thening (Upper Austria) which which works very energy-efficiently. This store also works with photovoltaik. This paper shows, that a total concept of non-poluting energy activities only can be financed with financal support of the governement. Little stores also can realice advantages against chain-stores because they get more financele support for non-polluting activities from the governement than chain stores. All in all one can say that energy-sustainability only can be sucessful with the financial support of governments.
