Nachhaltige Bürogebäude. Eine umweltwirtschaftliche Analyse anhand von Referenzgebäuden

Based on the problem that the building industry consumes a lot of material and energy sustainable buildings are researched in this thesis. In first place criteria that describe sustainable building will be identified and is grouped in following superordinate concept: energy efficiency and energy use, material efficiency and material use, emissions and cost improvement. In second place four chosen office buildings are analysed on basis of the criteria. These buildings were aided and accompanied by the research initiative „Haus der Zukunft“ from the Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology. With the help of these buildings it should be analysed to what extent ecological and economic sustainability can be realised in the building sector. Furthermore the question occurs, if there is enough choice of sustainable technology and building material to build a sustainable office building according to the mentioned criteria.
