Abstract
The first observation of Pb(II)-complexes of
corroles and their photoinduced oxidation to the
corresponding Pb(IV)-derivatives is reported.
These compounds display metal-centered redox
chemistry in solution. Their potential for catalytic
oxygen atom transfer processes is explored.
