Abstract
The intercalation of ethylenediamine and hexamethylenediamine into the layered carbide sulfides Nb2S2C and Ta2S2C is studied by X-rays and TGA. Contrary to the sulfide phases the corresponding selenide Ta2S2C cannot be intercalated.
