Abstract
This master thesis deals with the material utilize of sewage sludge and the possibilities for implementing this idea for concept variants. The paper consists of a theoretical and a practical part. In the first part, the reader has the chance to get to know some theoretical background reffering to the complexity of the themes waste water and sewage sludge. Furthermore, the two central ideas, the concept variants are based on, are presented: the material utilize of sewage sludge and the form of the organisation of the network, which is called the regional network. In the part of surgery the concept variants are described. This will be illustrated on the concrete example of the water treatment plant Marchtrenk and the associaton for sewage treatment Welser Heide. Four different concepts are discussed: the material utilize of sewage sludge, as it is carried out normally, a variant with an interposed drying plant for sewage sludge, run with solar energy, another variant producing compost out of sewage sludge and at least a variant producing new soil out of sewage sludge. Moreover, the features and aspects in the legal sense as well as the logistics are presented. Finally, the effects and necessities of the implementation for a water treatment plant are shown.
