Abstract
Why and in what way do experts know more than they can tell? What ist the structure of the expert's tacit knowledge? And how to teach knowledge which cannot be adequatly articulated?
In trying to answer these questions, what emerges ist not only one of the first extensive reconstructions of Polanyi`s concept of tacit knowing in the German-speaking area, but also a multi-faceted picture of the structure of experiential knowledge and its acquisition.
