    Abstract

In this work the in-plant material and energy flow management is presented. It is a manage-ment approach, which moves the constant collection and organisation of the in-plant flows of material and energy into the centre of view. In the first part of the work, first the term is de-fined and then the goals of the flow management and the demands oft the enterprises on the flow management are described. Furthermore the necessary adjustments within the ranges of the view of flows, information system and organization are discussed. Because the creation of the flow model is an important step during the introduction of the flow management, it got an own chapter in the work. The operational flow model is also a relevant source for the flow cost accounting, which is the fundamental instrument of the material and energy flow man-agement. In order to complete the theoretical bases, in the last three chapters the advantages of the flow management, some software programmes and Umberto, as a tool of the flow man-agement are discussed. For a better understanding of the practical conversion, in the second part of the work the individual phases of the project “account analysis after the flow method in the chemical industry” were stated and described.
