N2 - In the injection molding process the optical properties play an important role in product quality. An inline color measurement sensor was chosen for determining the color of injection molded parts. The study involves examining the influence of machine setting parameters (screw rotational speed and back
pressure) and the temperature of the part on the color outcomes. This research demonstrates how the selected measurement technique and machine parameters can be integrated inline for color measurement within the injection molding process to measure the color accurately. The selected sensor exhibits promising potential for practical insights, facilitating enhancements in production efficiency and quality control.
