Ganzheitliche Lieferantenqualifikation zur Qualitätssicherung gemäß der ISO 9000 - Anwendung am Beispiel der ENGEL Austria GmbH

The thesis deals with the integration opportunity of a supplier qualification system for quality management according to the ISO 9001.. The theoretical part of the thesis outlines the basics of a procurement-orientated quality assurance. Due to the integrated approach of supplier qualification based on the two dimensions quality and environment you get a detailed insight into the topic. The strategic supplier evaluation and the supplier assessment of the effective benefits are the basics of the supplier qualification. They are described and analysed. The paper describes the formulation of adequate criteria and identifies different kinds of methods for planning with reference to a specific company example. A catalogue of integrated criteria is compiled. Afterwards the basics of the ERP-system SAP are illustrated. The limits and benefits for the implementation of an integrated supplier qualification are pointed out. The practical part of the paper covers the case study of ENGEL Austria GmbH aiming to improve a supplier qualification. Therefore, an analysis of the recent situation was made so that the problem could be identified. Finally the practical application of a supplier qualification system in the company is considered.
