Exploitation Plan and Return on Investment Analysis (EU-H2020-Project SlotMachine)

This Exploitation Plan and Return on Investment Analysis is part of a project that has received funding from the SESAR Joint Undertaking under grant agreement No 890456 under European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme. This document presents the outlook for the SlotMachine developments, the exploitation planned by each stakeholder as well as the common plan for further development. After the review and comments of the SlotMachine capabilities as described during the requirements phase, a business model of the SlotMachine linked to the Data Market and the Intellectual Property Rights will be first presented. A market analysis in light with the current opportunities, challenges and trends will enable the reader to better understand the future development and implementation potentials of the concept and prototype developed. Finally, a Strength-Weaknesses-Opportunity- Threat (SWOT) analysis were conducted to lead to a sensible exploitation plan and highlight the real capability of the SlotMachine as a future oriented concept for releasing the European Air Traffic Management (ATM) from some pressure by making the best use of the airlines willingness of flexibility.
