Abstract
Concept, requirements, embodiment design, first experimental tests and problems found of a
previously published version of a hydraulic binary counter applied to control a multi-chamber
hydraulic cylinder are presented. The reasons for these problems are analyzed and proposals
for their overcoming are made.
