Abstract
Further development of e-Government solutions is on demand to meet the needs of all involved persons better. The use of new information and communication technologies is an excellent possibility to improve services. This requires a holistic view on e-Government on the one side and intensive knowledge transfer on the other side. Consulting experienced institutions in the field of e-Government and learning from their success is a good way. Several competitions present a representative range of successful projects to the public. The special preconditions of eGovernment are mirrored in their variety of applications.
