Abstract
This paper draws on work carried out in the framework of the Erasmus+ co-funded project “Right to Connect: digital
inclusion for persons with intellectual disabilities”. The aim of the comprehensive literature review described herein was
to record the state-of-the art knowledge in terms of challenges of digital literacy and social media usage by adults with
intellectual disabilities and followed a comprehensive literature review approach.
