Die Veränderung der sozial-, wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen und medizinischen Forschung durch die Verwendung statistischer Programmpakete: Bestandsaufnahme und Verbesserungsvorschläge

The use of statistcal programm packages changed the logic of statistical significance testing: The availability of the packages and the publication-practise in the sciences, in which significance testing is often used leaded to "testing without an scientific hypotheses". Because of this the number of wrong decisions increased, that became new "knowledge" in this sciences by publication. Here demands are established, that should be recognized by the users of the programmes. These demands also take respect of the difference between statistically significant and practically significant results.
