Abstract
In this work, we introduce the design of a magnetic geared high-speed bearingless slice motor. Starting with a basic description of the system, we briefly present the analytical bearingless motor model and its control scheme. The geometry is optimized using a genetic algorithm for solving this multi-objective problem. Fundamental characteristic values of the system are summarized and a ready to manufacture prototype design is outlined.
