Abstract
The title compd. is orthorhombic, space group Pnma, a 7.691(4), b 11.403(6), c 12.471(7) .ANG., Z = 4, R = 0.052, Rw = 0.048, for 769 reflections with Io > 3(Io). At. coordinates are given. The compd. is isostructural with Na3Fe2S4. The structure is built up by corrugated infinite anionic chains of edge-sharing FeSe4 tetrahedra which run along [010] and which are sepd. from each other by hexacoordinated Rb+ cations. Selected bond distances are given and discussed.
