Abstract

The frozen elephant trunk ( FET) procedure, which combines conventional surgery with endovascular tech niques, offers a single stage treatment to patients with extensive aortic pathologies. Since experience with this hybrid procedure has increased substantially in the last decade, reports on mod ern-era patient cohorts can provide insights into the changing landscape of the frozen elephant trunk procedure. This study aims to identify trends in short- and mid-term outcomes, focus ing on the underlying pathologies and surgical strategies.
