Abstract

It is preliminary version of Chapter 2 of a textbook "Computable Integrability". We use Riccaati equation (RE) as a main example in order to demonstrate ideas and notions introduced in the Chapter 1: integrability in quadratures, conservation laws, etc. We constructed some equivalent forms of Riccati equation and considered different approaches to the soluting RE.
