Abstract

Software has become an important economic commodity. The development of large software systems is difficult and encumbered by many problems, which makes the organization of software development processes extremely important. Here the literature provides many proposals. One process model that has won particular worldwide notice both in the scientific community and among practitioners is Boehm 's Spiral Model. This model provides the basis for our proposed adapted comprehensive process model that incorporates technological developments and experience gained in large software projects.
