Abstract
This article looks at »work 4.0« from the perspective of psychosocial vocational rehabilitation. It presents the results of a pre-study that has been conducted within the research project »Demands in a world of work 4.0 placed on individuals with need for psychosocial support and providers of vocational rehabilitation« of pro mente OÖ. This pre-study included one focus-group with clients of a vocational rehabilitation institution and three expert interviews with managers of the same institution. The results reveal three target areas for vocational rehabilitation: technology skills or education in general, resilience, and responsibility and self-regulation. Furthermore, the experts emphasized the importance of protecting the second labour market.
