Auf dem Weg zum "neuen" Staat. Die Wiederherstellung der demokratischen Republik Österreich von 1945-1955 unter Berücksichtigung der Ereignisse in Oberösterreich

Aim of this work is to describe the post-war construction of the Austrian state, her judiciary and her economy. The first steps of Austria in the field of denazification and atoning of Nazi's injustice are shown. The way of Austria to her independence is inextricably linked with the completion of the 'tate treaty' in the year 1955. The author tries to direct the reader's attention to the development in Upper Austria. Her specific situation resulted from her belonging to the American and the Russian occupation zone. Anyway, the work should make a contribution to the history of a country in the point of view of women. The accounts and reminiscences of women who lived in Upper Austria after the Second World War show the difficult post-war situation. The interviewed women remembered her personal situation after 1945. They recounted of her problems, her worries, but also of her wishes and hopes for the future.
