Abstract
In this contribution we address the problem of constructing flat outputs of discrete-time nonlinear control systems.
For this purpose, we introduce a normal form which is based on the representation of discrete-time systems as submanifolds and which, by its structure, is 1-flat. Then we suggest a constructive method for the transformation of a given system to this normal form and demonstrate it by two examples. Finally we show how the method simplifies in the special case of static feedback linearizable systems.
