3GEN: Software Blueprints & Generators for SMEs

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference proceedingspeer-review

Abstract

This paper outlines the development of a software blueprint and generator framework for Tourism Information Systems (TIS). The overall goal of the project is to identify redundant software parts in SMTE-TIS. These parts could ideally be represented as software blueprints and constitute the input for automated code generation. The paper introduces the concepts of software blueprints and generators, shortly discusses the state of the art (the 3GEN framework) and forwards some open questions for discussion.
