Thermoelectricity in Steel Industry Extension

In the course of processing the research project ‘Thermoelectricity in Steel Industry – Basic works’ (your order 0010-450/4522112310 dated 24.01.2022) it became apparent that not all tasks (work packages) could be processed in the scheduled period from 01.03.2022 to 28.02.2023. The status of the research work carried out and the additional research work still to be carried out is shown in the table below. The research work to be continued is highlighted in yellow. As an important step in failure analysis IR-Thermography was added as WP4 (highlighted in light blue in the table). A detailed description of the research work performed in the period 01.03.2022 – 28.02.2023 will be given in a separate report (not attached in this offer). For a quick overview of all the research work, the protocols of the regularly scheduled TE meetings are attached. The TE meetings took place typically every two weeks. At this point it should be mentioned that within the framework of the aforementioned research work, supporting research work was also carried out in connection with the voest-internal project of recovering radiant heat energy by means of the RGS thermagy module (see attached protocols).
