Description
This project evaluates the possible contribution of an increase of telecommuting jobs and telecommuting centers for a reduction of traffic volume in consideration of the economic, energetic and socio-demographic effects so that it allows a classification of the quantitative effects of teleworking for conceptual design of prospective mobility structures.
This project carries out an analysis of teleworking jobs in the region of Mühlviertel und provides an overview of experience and expectations concerning teleworking from the view of both employers and employees. What follows, is a conceptual design of an exemplary teleworking-centre in the region of Mühlviertel, as well as a economic assessment.
