Teleworking - A study of the general set-up with special consideration of the telecommunications-connection

This dissertation contains a general overview on Teleworking and in which areas it is especially suitable. Additionally the experiences with current and past projects will be shown briefly. The legal framework is discussed as well as the prerequisites for a successful establishment of Teleworking. Technological aspects are looked into as well as the structure of work and personal aspects. The main part deals with the technical realization of Teleworking with a special view on the telecommunications-connection. At the end the results of a university-internal inquiry on Telework are presented.
