Project Details
Description
In this project concepts and algorithms for acoustic beamforming with silicon microphone arrays ('spatially resolved listening') will be evaluated, tested, and optimized. A prototype for applications in noisy environments (e.g. cars, vacuum cleaner, etc.) will be developed and built based on the industry partner’s silicon microphones. Resolution limits and dependencies on the electrical and mechanical properties of the microphones will be determined, and feedback for optimization of the microphones will be elaborated.
