The subject of this research project is the development of virtual reality and multimedia-based simulation and design tools tailored to industrial plant construction (e.g., virtual welding workshop, virtual rolling mill and virtual rod casting plant) and the evaluation of their contribution with respect to achieving increased quality and reduced cost.
