Project Details

Description

A major breakthrough in solar efficiencies by one of the partner (from about 0.5 to more than 3 % under solar illumination) now brought this very promising field closer to commerciali- sation. The objectives of this project are to achieve a higher solar efficiency and a stability, which are considered as prerequisites for the commercialisation of plastic solar cells. Therefore the consortium of academic and industrial partners will join competences and expertise in Chemistry, Physics and Industrial Process Development in order to overcome within 3 years the last barriers before the large scale production of Plastic Solar Cells
